BaptistBoys:  Deacon Reign thought of himself as a good Christian, well, mostly good Christian. You know what they say about Baptists… “Episcopalians don’t recognize Baptists because they don’t use a prayer book and Baptists don’t recognize each other in the liquor store,” but that’s why the Lord forgives us our sins. Deacon Reign's son was killed when he got caught in the crossfire of a gang shooting. He has an especially strong desire to help young men stay out of trouble and get on the right path. When he heard about Pastor Cali’s plans he practically demanded to be included.

That presented a problem. Pastor Cali had no reason to say “no.” There was only one thing to do. Pastor Cali and Deacon Johnsyn invited Deacon Reign over for a football afternoon and got him drunk on beer and tequila, but that was the least of Deacon Reign's transgressions.
